Strivide custom doors are engineered for commercial refrigeration with 4" polyurethane foam cores for superior insulation, commercial-grade hinges rated for 500,000+ cycles, and a magnetic cam-lift seal that self-closes against the frame — eliminating cold air loss and reducing compressor load by up to 15%.

How to Configure

A Visual Guide to Every Step

Not sure what to select? These expanded guides walk you through each configuration decision.

1

Unit Type, Hinge & Floor

Freezers require a thicker insulated panel (4") and a more robust gasket than coolers. Hinge side is determined by which side the door swings open from when you're standing outside the unit. Floor level affects the bottom sweep seal.

Freezer

Cooler
33°F to 40°F operation. R-25 core, standard magnetic seal.

Measuring Your Opening

Measure the opening — not your current door. Measure width at three points (top, middle, bottom) and use the smallest. Measure height at three points (left, center, right) and use the smallest. We build to your exact 1/8" measurement.

HEIGHT WIDTH Handle
Width: measure top, middle, bottom — use the smallest
Height: measure left, center, right — use the smallest
We build to your exact 1/8" specification
Most common size: 27 1/8" × 60 1/8"
If your opening is out of square by more than 1/4", call us before ordering.
3

Door Panel Material

All three materials offer equivalent thermal performance. Your choice comes down to environment, aesthetics, and budget.

Stainless Steel panel finish 304-Grade
Stainless Steel
Corrosion-resistant. Ideal for wet, freezer, or USDA-inspected facilities. Easiest to sanitize.
✓ Most Common
Embossed Galvalume panel finish Textured
Embossed Galvalume
Zinc-aluminum alloy with textured finish. Hides dents well. Budget-friendly without sacrificing durability.
Available option
White Galvalume panel finish Smooth White
White Galvalume
Smooth white finish. Best for front-of-house, retail, or environments where aesthetics matter.

Door Frame Configuration

The frame type depends on the condition of your existing opening. Most face-mount replacements use the standard Outside Face Door Frame. If your wall panel is damaged, consider the Full Retrofit Plug.

Face Mount
Outside Face Frame
Mounts over the existing opening. Most common replacement — covers minor frame damage.
✓ Most Common
Face + Mirror
Face + Mirror Frame
Adds interior frame around the opening. Cleanest appearance inside and out.
Available option
Full Retrofit
Full Retrofit Plug
Completely replaces the door frame. Best for heavily damaged or non-standard openings.
